Yoga is a means of balancing and harmonizing the body, mind and emotions and is a tool that allows us to withdraw from the chaos of the world and find a quiet space within. To achieve this, yoga uses movement, breath, posture, relaxation and meditation in order to establish a healthy, vibrant and balanced approach to living.
JCC have introduced Yoga classes for Men and Women of our Jamaat. Come and experience this great Body and Mind discipline with experienced and talented instructors Br. Mustafa Moosavi (Men) and Sister Sakeena Moosavi (Women).
Br. Mustafa has been practising Yoga for over 10 years and is a certified Yoga Exercise Specialist. As a practitioner and an instructor, Mustafa aspires to motivate and guide students to improve their overall health and wellness through the development of self-confidence, spiritual and physical awareness, improved strength and flexibility, and stress reduction. His classes focus on staying connected to the inner self with an emphasis on breathing, developing body and mind awareness.
